In 2024, I successfully completed the ASCA Level I (American Swimming Coaches Association) Certification, which focuses on the essential fundamentals of effective and safe swimming coaching.
What is ASCA Level I?
ASCA Level I is the entry-level certification for professional swim coaches worldwide. It is designed to ensure that coaches understand the core principles of teaching, athlete development, and safety standards required in the sport.
This course strengthened my knowledge in several key areas:
